Lake Local Schools is proud to be in the top 30 districts in the State of Ohio for performance! We serve our students, staff and community through four strategic focus areas: engagement, communication, stewardship and wellness.

We engage our students, staff and community through excellent educational and extra-curricular programming in academics, the arts and athletics. We make every effort to communicate through as many mediums as possible to reach as many in our community as possible. We are stewards of our financial and physical resources and seek to continuously identify ways to help the district reduce costs and increase performance. We promote physical, mental and spiritual health through programs and partnerships with our community.

Accomplishments

For the seventh year in a row, Lake Local Schools has been rated Excellent or Excellent with Distinction by the Ohio Department of Education. The district has met 26 of the 26 indicators on the report, and the district’s Performance Index score remained steady at 107.2, placing it in the top 5% of districts in the State. The district also met its requirements for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and Value Added.
